ABOUT
Dalton
Dalton Mauldin is a second baseman for the Loco Beach Coconuts who grew up in the small town of Lake City, Florida. Although he attended church as a young child, his faith journey truly began in sixth grade when a friend invited him to a youth group where he quickly connected with the community, the leadership, and especially the worship music. At a summer youth camp in Daytona Beach, while listening to worship led by Chris Tomlin and a message from Louie Giglio, Dalton experienced a powerful moment where he felt the presence of God and decided to give his life to Christ. His faith continued to grow through church, friendships, and Bible study, shaping the person he would become. Later, after suffering a UCL injury in college that left him uncertain about his baseball future, Dalton turned to worship music for encouragement and began teaching himself guitar during recovery. What started as a personal way to cope became something much bigger—eventually leading him to write and perform music while continuing to play baseball. Today, through Banana Ball, Dalton is able to combine two passions God placed in his life—baseball and music—entertaining thousands of fans while sharing joy and using his gifts to impact others.
