Also, Jordan Westburg and other teammates have played a big role in encouraging my walk with Christ.
How has your faith impacted your baseball career?
Baseball is a game full of adversity and failure. Having Christ in my heart gives me freedom to play the game without pressure and trust in the gifts He’s given me.
Favorite Bible Verse?
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
So, What is the Gospel?
What if understanding the Gospel was as easy as running the bases? Good news. It is. Join Mickey Weston as he steps up to the plate and walks through the Gospel using the simple, familiar rhythm of baseball. From home plate to first, second, third, and back home, faith becomes clear, approachable, and unforgettable. No religious jargon, no pressure. Just Good News explained in a way that makes sense and brings you home.
